Barnes Double Reception Room - Coming Soon

This Soho House-inspired double reception room in Barnes (scheduled for completion in early summer 2026) is a perfect example of how friendly, practical, and clear-thinking interior design support can simplify an overwhelmed process. Working with a client possessing a clear vision, our help was to move their original ideas forward and help shortlisted ideas as they felt overwhelmed by the overabundance of choice.

Our collaborative process was simple and direct: we translated their distinct vision into a filtered, tailored selection of luxury furniture. We reconfiguring the double reception room and integrating statement lighting design and bespoke joinery. A key feature was giving dedicated, functional purpose to the often-overlooked 'middle room,' transforming it from an afterthought into a tailored library and study retreat, which now seamlessly connects the front reception area with a intimate, relaxed rear living space.

We presented a carefully filtered options of furniture and lighting, guiding the selection process, especially given current long lead times for key pieces like luxury sofas. We used a selection of interior renderings specifically to demonstrate how bolder, unique choices such as a statement leopard print footstool could work, and to show how differing pattern scales in textiles, curtains, and cushions create immediate depth and warmth and the relaxed elegance of a modern Soho House.
